Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited has noted significant increases in the value of its tower businesses in Poland (Emitel) and the Czech Republic (CRA).
In its full year results for the year ended March 31, the company says that as of the end of Q1 2023 Emitel was valued at £429 million, compared to an original cost of £353 million. In the financial year ended December 31, 2022, Emitel’s revenues increased by 13% to £99.8 million, driven primarily by additional capacity available from investment in the latest DVB-T2 technology.
Meanwhile, CRA’s value increased from £305.9 million in May 2021 to £389.1 million as of March 31 this year. Revenues for the 12 months ending March 31 amounted to £80.3 million (+2%). Although revenue growth from TV services was flat year-on-year, Cordiant points out that CRA signed a five-year agreement with the pay-TV broadcaster AMC Networks International in March.
