Orange Belgium has validated the nomination of Philippe Toussaint as a newly appointed member of its executive committee.

Meanwhile, VOO has nominated Philippe Toussaint as well as Stéphane Le Goff and Gildas Bouchet as new executive committee members. All took up their positions on June 5.

Commenting on the expansion of the executive committees, Xavier Pichon, CEO of Orange Belgium, said: “In the light of our industrial project with VOO and the ambition to lead the future of the telco market for the benefit of all consumers, employees and society in general, I am pleased to welcome Philippe, Stéphane and Gildas as Chiefs in our executive committees. Their long track record, expertise and strong competences will be key in supporting, designing, and realising our ambitions. I warmly welcome them onboard!”

Edouard Rodriguez, CEO of VOO, added: “The arrival of Philippe, Stéphane and Gildas in our executive committee will enable us to benefit from their expertise and extensive experience in the telecom sector. This is a first illustration of how the combined strengths of Orange Belgium and VOO can help us realise our ambitions”.

Philippe Toussaint is the chief fixed network officer at Orange Belgium and CTO at VOO, while Stéphane Le Goff and Gildas Bouchet are the chief wholesale officer and CFO respectively at VOO.
