The premium British drama channel BBC First has launched in Moldova on Orange. It joins BBC News and is available to all subscribers of Orange’s digital cable TV service.
Commenting on the launch, Zbigniew Pruski, commercial director CEE at BBC Studios said: “I’m really glad to see further expansion of BBC First in the region and reaching even more homes with our top-notch British drama. I’m confident that Orange Moldova viewers will appreciate the variety of productions with truly addictive narratives, exceptional writing and acting and stunning cinematography. The channel has recently also been launched in Albania with Vodafone, where it is available to subscribers alongside BBC Earth.
