RTL Hungary has won the A package broadcasting rights to the UEFA Champions League for three seasons starting 2024/25.
As a result, it will have first choice on which matches to broadcast, linearly or on its streaming platform, om Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
It has also secured the rights to the so-called B package. In total, it will hold the rights to 36 matches in the A package and 167 in the B package per season.
Commenting on the rights, RTL Hungary’s CEO Gabriella Vidus that it is not usual in foreign markets, it will be the first time that Champions League games will be offered both linearly and on a streaming platform.
