German media company High View is adding its music channels Deluxe Dance by Kontor, Deluxe Flashback, Deluxe Rock and Deluxe Rap to streaming platform waipu.tv.
The advertising-financed free-TV channels were previously only distributed via satellite on Astra (19.2° East) – in SD resolution. At waipu.tv, the services are exclusively available in HD quality. They can be received by all waipu.tv customers at no additional cost, including the free package.
“Our goal is to provide music television fans with a diverse interest-based offering on as many distribution channels as possible – including viewers without cable or satellite. We see that particularly among younger viewers our channels are very popular on the big screen and we are working on our own and together with partners such as waipu.tv or Kontor Records on further offers and channels as well as the expansion to further platforms and target groups,” said Ulrike Unseld, responsible for the music portfolio and marketing at High View.
The four additions complement the High View music channel portfolio at waipu.tv, consisting of free-TV channels Schlager Deluxe, Deluxe Lounge and Deluxe Music as well as pay-TV services Jukebox and Gute Laune TV.
