Telekom Srbija saw its debts rise to €1.55 billion in 2022.
According to N1 and Danas, quoting the telco’s financial reports, this was primarily due to borrowing an additional €1.1 billion and at the same time paying off €697 million in 2022.
This meant that its debts increased by more than €400 million last year, having stood at €244 million in 2021. Interest costs increased by 67% in 2022, rising from RSD3.55 billion (€30.2 million) in 2021 to RSD7 billion last year.
Telekom Srbija’s profit in 2022 amounted to €113.7 million, or 1.5% more than in the previous year.
Revenues from multimedia rose by 33% and internet services by 22%.
