Polish debut for FilmBox+

May 30, 2023 12.10 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The streaming service FilmBox+ has made its debut in Poland on Vectra, the country’s leading cable operator.

Offering viewers series, films, thematic programmes and TV channels of the Kino Polska Group and SPI International including the FilmBox package, Kino Polska, Stopklatka and Zoom TV, it costs from PLN8 (€1.77) a month for all individual subscribers and can be received on the Smart 4K Box and TV Smart 4K Box PVR, PCs, as well as on any device that can download the FilmBox+ app.

Commenting on the launch, Krzysztof Sokolik, Vectra’s marketing director, said: “Vectra consistently focuses on providing customers with a wide selection of the most interesting content. FilmBox+ in Vectra is another step on this path – offering entertainment at the highest level, regardless of where our client is currently located”.

Jacek Koskowski, DG of sales and distribution at Kino Polska Group, added: “The introduction of FilmBox+ to Vectra’s offer is an important step in the development of this service. This is the debut of our streaming service provided in such a business model, which is why we are very happy to start immediately with the largest cable operator in Poland. On the one hand, FilmBox+ is a natural addition and a significant extension to the FilmBox channel package already offered by operators, and on the other hand, it is an offer for customers who only use the Internet, for example, and are interested in great entertainment. We are a partner providing a comprehensive service, thanks to which subscribers can have convenient access to attractive content under one bill with their TV provider”.
