Scalstrm and G&L combine for streaming experiences

May 24, 2023 21.02 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Scalstrm, which supplies next generation media processing and streaming solutions, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and sustainability, and G&L Geißendörfer & Leschinsky GmbH, a system integrator and managed service provider for audio and video content delivery, have announced a new European partnership.

G&L will integrate Scalstrm’s Origin, Origin Shield, and CDN into its managed OTT live solutions. It will combine the reliability and functionality of its live origin infrastructure while simultaneously reducing energy consumption.

G&L will also act as a reseller for Scalstrm solutions in the central European market.

“Reliable, hybrid, energy-efficient live streaming workflows is what G&L is known for best. Scalstrm is the perfect linchpin between our OTT transcoding solutions and live content distribution,” said Alexander Leschinsky, Co-Founder and Managing Director at G&L.

Scalstrm’s advanced live streaming solutions offer seamless integration across on-premises, public cloud providers, and hybrid environments. By incorporating Scalstrm’s technology into their operations, G&L will be able to optimise the performance of their hundreds of live streams, ensuring superior reliability and functionality.

“We are excited about our partnership with G&L, as it allows us to introduce our state-of-the-art live streaming solutions to the central European market. By merging Scalstrm’s groundbreaking technology with G&L’s extensive knowledge in OTT transcoding and content delivery, we are transforming the landscape of live streaming workflows. Our joint commitment is to provide dependable, efficient, and environmentally conscious solutions that will shape the future of the streaming industry,” said Dominique Vosters, Business Development & Sales Director, Scalstrm

Both companies share a strong commitment to sustainability and low-emission processing in the media industry.
