Ukraine’s 1+1 Media hires Ivan Bukreev

May 23, 2023 09.19 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Ivan Bukreev has been appointed the head of the newly created content management department at Ukraine’s 1+1 Media.

A manager with over 20 years’ experience who has previously worked for the group, he will head a division whose goal is to ensure the group’s leading position as a content mediator in Ukraine. In particular, he will be focussed on updating the group’s content strategy, attracting external grants and investments, co-production and finding effective models of content production.

Commenting on the appointment, Yaroslav Pakholchuk, CEO of 1+1 Media, said: “I congratulate Ivan Bukreev on his return to the ranks of 1+1 Media in this difficult and important time for the country and the company. In the conditions of a major war and a macroeconomic crisis, the issue of content is of great importance for the media market. During the last turbulent year, 1+1 Media worked on finding all kinds of solutions and opportunities to create a variety of content that would strengthen our position, be relevant both for the domestic audience and for the international audience, responding to the requests of society and partners. It is obvious that this direction requires a separate strategy and management, so the key task for Ivan is to create an internal centr of expertise in media group content management”.

Bukreev added: “I am very happy to return to the company that started my journey in the media almost 20 years ago. During my absence, 1+1 managed to transform from channel number 1 in Ukraine to a powerful and diversified media group. I hope to help the friendly team of 1+1 Media reach new heights”.
