Technetix Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Paul Broadhurst, has been elected as a vendor board member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).
Following his election earlier this month, Broadhurst will work with fellow board members to implement the SCTE’s vision for the future of the cable industry.
Paul Broadhurst said: “I’m honoured to have been elected to the board of SCTE as a vendor member and look forward to helping broaden the SCTE’s global footprint. I am very committed to giving back to the industry which has made my career and built Technetix Group. I am particularly committed to fostering support of the career development of young engineers in the industry and promoting communications technology. I very much look forward to the 2023 SCTE Expo show in Denver”.
Broadhurst will use his 35 years’ experience in the global broadband industry to advance technology solutions for both HFC and FTTx networks, support the development and education of the cable community, and also partner with industry stakeholders to provide innovative solutions that make operators more competitive and successful.
