Azerion teams up with XITE

May 23, 2023 12.01 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Azerion has entered into an exclusive connected TV (CTV) partnership with XITE in Germany.

As a result, the premium advertising inventory on XITE’s TV channels and interactive TV app will be delivered directly and programmatically through Azerion’s in-house supply-side platform, Improve Digital.

Advertisers can thus benefit from the power of XITE’s platform with high-quality video content.

The strategic partnership marks an important step for both companies to take music and entertainment advertising to the next level.
According to Andreas Stietzel, VP of Azerion DACH, “we are very happy to partner with XITE.

“The demand for CTV advertising is growing rapidly, as smart TVs are present in almost every living room. Advertisers must respond to the changing usage behaviour of especially young audiences such as Gen Z and millennials, for whom traditional TV use continues to decline. That’s why CTV has become an integral part of the media mix. With XITE, we offer advertisers an interesting CTV advertising environment with high-quality content and a high degree of viewer engagement, because music is pure emotion”.

Ingmar Rood, director sales & partnerships at XITE, added: “XITE is growing rapidly, so we were looking for a strong, local partner to monetize our premium CTV inventory in Germany. The advanced technology and expertise of Azerion’s sales team fit perfectly with our ambition to be of even greater value for advertisers”.
