Poland’s leading cable operator Vectra has unveiled a new receiver known as the TV Smart 4K PVR Box.
It has an in-built 1TB hard drive that allows for recoding over 200 hours both on the hard drive and in the cloud. It also for the reception of both digital cable (DVB-C) and terrestrial TV (DVB-T2) signals.
The TV Smart 4K PVR Box is based on the Android TV operating system. Thanks to this, customers can run applications using voice commands, send an image from a mobile device to a set-top box without the use of additional cables (Chromecast), install applications for Android TV (including games, e.g. Blacknut service), or a huge number of streaming services (including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Viaplay, HBO Max, TIDAL, Player and many others) or watch programmes broadcast in the past (catch-up TV) or still ongoing (restart TV).
All this offered in quality up to 4K HDR and Dolby Vision sound.
