willy.tel and wilhelm.tel select IPTV platform from Ocilion

May 17, 2023 10.13 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German fibre network operators willy.tel and wilhelm.tel have decided to expand their TV offer with their own IPTV product.

The service will be based on the white label cloud solution provided by Ocilion, which will be individually adapted to the needs of the companies.

With the P510-4K set-top box, first and second screen apps and a customised range of functions and content, willy.tel and wilhelm.tel are putting together a comprehensive TV offer for private households and the housing industry, according to Ocilion. Both network operators are planning to launch their IPTV product in the course of the year.

“With willy.tel and wilhelm.tel we have been able to excite two large and well-known network operators for our IPTV platform. Thanks to the flexibility of the solution, they can serve both end-customers and the housing industry – with an upselling option,” said Ocilion Managing Director Hans Kühberger, adding that there will be a tailor-made product, completely under their own brand, for every application scenario.
