The Romanian parliament has elected Valeriu Zgonea the president of the regulator ANCOM.
According to local reports, 270 parliamentarians voted in favour of his appointment and 33 deputies and senators against.
Zgonea is the former president of Romania’s Chamber of Deputies and his wife Laura already works at ANCOM as secretary general.
