The Greek incumbent OTE ended the first quarter with close to 650,000 subscribers to its TV services.
The actual figure of 648,531 was 1.9% more than a year earlier despite what the company says were competitive challenges and the persistence of piracy.
OTE’s broadband subscriber total in Q1 stood at 2,33,374, up 2.9% on a year earlier.
Of these, 1,489,407 (+23.3%) were fibre.
Its total FTTH subscriber total reached 166,000, or 11% of the total fibre base.
OTE had total revenues of €803.6 million in Q1, or 2% less than in the same period last year.
Its adjusted EDITDA was €322 million (-1%) and profit €135.3 million (+4.6%).
