Vodafone Deutschland is integrating streaming service RTL+ as a preinstalled app on its TV platform GigaTV.
The RTL+ app is now available on the cable receiver GigaTV Cable Box 2, to be followed shortly by the GigaTV Cable Box 1. In addition, the RTL+ app can be downloaded on the Vodafone OTT boxes GigaTV Net Box and Apple TV 4K in the respective app stores.
“With RTL+, we are integrating the leading German streaming service into GigaTV. The app is a great addition to our already very extensive TV and entertainment offering. By partnering with RTL+, our GigaTV customers will benefit from even more choice and get access to a wide selection of movies, series, shows, news and documentaries,” said Marc Albers, Head of Broadband at Vodafone.
The RTL+ app was developed in collaboration with TeraVolt from Hamburg, which specialises in app development.
