New milestone for DAZN YouTube channel

April 24, 2023 11.49 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

DAZN’s UEFA Women Champions League (UWCL) YouTube channel has exceeded 40 million views for the season across live and on-live content.

The channel has more eyes on the competition than ever before, with 13.5 million views in March alone. It now has over half a million subscribers, who all have access to and engage with the steady stream of content, interviews and all UWCL matches.

News of the milestone came ahead of the first legs of the semi-finals between Chelsea FC Women and FC Barcelona and VfL Wolfsburg and Arsenal WFC on April 22. The second legs will be played on April 27 and May 1 respectively.

Marc Watson, CCO, DAZN said: “We are delighted to see the return of the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals. DAZN is the home of women’s football globally and is committed to increasing visibility, access to women’s football and bringing broadcast levels to new heights. Our unwavering and continued support is shown through our top-tier global broadcast offerings: our agreements with Finetwork Liga F as well as our DACH RISE channel and dazn’s Victoria plan”.
