Swedish telco Tele2 says the build of its 5G network will improve every step of the digital customer journey.
The operator says building the best 5G network in Sweden is a “realistic ambition”.
“While building for the future, it is of essence to keep our growth momentum here and now. Hence, I’m pleased to see Tele2’s overall growth in Q1, driven by Sweden B2B and the Baltics,” said Kjell Johnsen, President and Group CEO of Tele2. “On the consumer side we have taken actions in Q1 to address the inflationary pressure and consequences of higher interest rates, and it will contribute to the revenues as the year progresses.”
Tele2’s digital TV revenue was flat year-on-year as increased income from cable and fibre was outweighed by falls in DTT. Fixed line telephony continues to fall enough to offset growth in mobile.
