SkyShowtime was watched by nearly 2 million Polish internet users in its first full month in the country.
According to Wirtualne Media, quoting Gemius/PBI, it had 1,985,634 real internet users (web and app) in March, giving it a reach of 6.69%. This placed it in 10th place in the most popular VOD/OTT service among internet users in Poland, just ahead of Viaplay and Polsat Go. The monthly survey shows that Netflix was by far the most popular service, though its real user total fell from February’s 12,576,708 to 12,189,852. As a result, its reach was down from 42.39% to 41.09%.
Meanwhile, Disney+ took over second place from HBO Max. At the same time, the re-launched service VOD.pl saw its user total increase from 851,310 to 1,410,210.
