Spain’s MásMóvil will maintain its investment in the operator Euskaltel after its merger with Orange.
Quoting Jon Ander de las Fuentes, director of Euskaltel and the MásMóvil in the Basque Country and Navarra, El Economista reports that it will amount to €100 million this year and will not be affected by MásMóvil merger with Orange, which is awaiting approval by the European Commission.
MásMóvil is committed to investing a total of €350 million on Euskaltel over a period of three years.
This will result in Euskaltel covering 85% of the Basque population with 5G services and connecting 97% of homes connected to its fibre optic network.
