The Bulgarian station TV Nova, which is part of United Group, has recorded the biggest viewership figures in its history.
According to official peoplemetric data reports, it had an average daily audience share of over 30% among viewers aged 18-49 in March. This was the highest figure for Nova
reported by a peoplemetric system since 2005.
The data for March also showed that Nova’s lead over its main competitor bTV was as much as 8%, with the broadcasters claiming shares of 30.1% and 22.2% respectively.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Nova Broadcasting Group, of which TV Nova is part, was acquired by United Group in January 2021.
Nova’s previous owners have included Antenna Group and Modern Times Group (MTG).
