French streaming platform Salto ended broadcast operations on Monday, March 27.
Last month, shareholders France Télévisions, M6 and TF1 signalled their intention to enter liquidation.
The platform said it will end service on March 27, 2023. Up until then the approximate 800,000 subscribers would be able to continue to access films and series from its catalogue and view the live channels and replay content.
At the time, the shareholders took a swipe at how few local operators had offered the “Made in France” streamer to their subscribers. Only Amazon Prime Video and TF1’s sister company Bouygues Télécom offered Salto.
Arrangements for subscriber refunds have been published on the Salto website.
