Netflix, Apple TV and Sky joined public broadcasters BBC, Channel 4 and ITV in 128 programme nominations in the BAFTA Television Awards.
It follows a record number of entries across television and craft.
The BBC leads with 81 nominations, followed by Channel 4 with 33, Netflix with 24, ITV with 19, Apple TV+ with 15, Sky with 14 and Disney+ with 8 nominations.
Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, said: “Huge congratulations to all our nominees. Today a record number of entries in Television and Craft resulted in 128 nominations, demonstrating fantastic strength and depth in programming and talent in 2022.”
Apple TV spy drama Slow Horses received nominations for Leading Actor Gary Oldman and Supporting Actor Jack Lowden alongside Editing: Fiction, Original Music: Fiction and Sound: Fiction.
Netflix drama The Crown was honoured for Leading Actress Imelda Staunton, as the latest portrayal of The Queen, Supporting Actor Salim Daw who plays Mohamed Al Fayed as well as Costume Design, Editing: Fiction and Sound: Fiction.
The BAFTA Television Craft Awards will take place on Sunday 23 April hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
