Astra satellite operator SES and teleshopping broadcaster QVC have extended their partnership.
With the new agreement, QVC secures satellite capacity at the Astra position 19.2° East in SD and HD resolution for the coming years. The contract covers the German-language channels QVC SD, QVC2 SD and QVC2 HD.

It is important for QVC to continue providing our viewers with our channels in all quality levels, so they can freely choose between SD, HD and for QVC and QVC2 also UHD,” said Judith Haker, Director Platform Development & Distribution at QVC International.
