The streaming technology company Bedrock has extended the French ad-free streaming service 6play max to Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and LG connected TVs.
The announcement comes a few months after the service was launched on web, mobile, Android TV, and Samsung smart TVs.
This upgrade allows 6play to reach its 25 million active users on almost all the OTT installed bases in France, providing users with advanced features such as ad-free, Download-to-Go for offline use on mobile, HD quality, Cast to TV, 30-day programme and more freedom of use.
Bedrock was formed in early 2020 as a joint venture between Groupe M6 and RTL Group (part of Bertelsmann).
It builds state-of-the-art streaming platforms, helping five broadcasters and media companies across four countries entertain 45 million users, across all screens.
