IPTV take-up grows in Croatia

The number of IPTV subscribers in Croatia is rapidly approaching half a million.

According to the latest figures published by the regulator HAKOM, it stood at 457,613 at the end of 2022, or 1.89%, or than a year earlier.

At the same time, the number of DTH subscribers fell by 5.87% to 131,831 and cable TV subscribers increased by 0.76% to 182,024.

Meanwhile, the pay-DTT subscriber total fell by 2.15% to 101,167 and those solely receiving DTT by 12.99% to 528,389.

In the last quarter of 2022, 62.3% of households in Croatia used some form of pay-TV. Of these, 52% opted for IPTV.

Revenues from pay-TV services in 2022 amounted to HRK225,991,212 (€29.994,232), or 4.28% more than the previous year.
