German media company Mainstream Media AG is now distributing its FAST channel World of Freesports across Europe via Rakuten TV.
The extreme sports channel, which launched in Germany in October 2022, can be received in 41 countries via the streaming platform. The international version is offered in English language.
“We are very pleased that our FAST channel World of Freesports can now be streamed throughout Europe. This important step gives us the opportunity to offer similar services to other platforms,” said Tim Werner, CEO of Mainstream Media AG.
In Germany, World of Freesports can be received on LG Channels and Zattoo in addition to Rakuten TV. The programme line-up features action-packed outdoor sports, including mountain bike races, ski and snowboard events, climbing tours, surfing and motor sports.
In addition to World of Freesports, Mainstream Media AG also operates the FAST channels Filmgold and Strong Women.
