Eight out of 10 broadband lines in Spain are now fibre.
According to the regulator CNMC, the total number of FTTH lines reached 13.8 million in January, or 89,944 more than a month earlier.
All told, 83% of broadband lines in the country were FTTH, and of these Movistar accounted for 36.6% (5.1 million) of the total.
Furthermore, the three leading operators, Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) togther accounted for 75.7% of total lines.
