XITE enters Dutch FAST market

March 14, 2023 16.50 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The music video platform XITE has expanded the entertainment offer on Samsung TV Plus in the Netherlands.

The addition of four new TV channels – XITE Hits, XITE Van Eigen Bodem, XITE All Out Dance and XITE Rock On – to Samsung TV Plus marks its entry into the Dutch market for FAST channels.

Commenting on the development, Cees Honig, co-CEO of XITE: ‘XITE brings music videos to the largest screen in the living room. While the interactive TV app allows viewers to manage and personalise their music video experience, with Samsung TV Plus we offer consumers tailored channels and let them sit back and enjoy the musical journey”.

Tonnie van Schijndel, senior marketing manager television & audio at Samsung Benelux, added: “We want to offer our users a holistic experience that consists of excellent image quality, convenience and premium entertainment that fits their lifestyle. With this collaboration, we are further responding to the needs of our users and taking our entertainment offering to the next level”.

Samsung TV Plus and XITE have already entered into a partnership in which XITE launched various FAST channels on Samsung TV Plus in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany and Austria.
