Vivendi has entered into exclusive negotiations to sell 100% of Editis to IMI, a subsidiary of Czech Media Invest.
In a statement, Vivendi says that this follows reviewing the several offers it has received for the publishing group. It adds that any transaction will require the authorisation of the European Commission. It would also be subject to the information and consultation procedure involving the relevant employee representative bodies.
