Quincy Jones’ QWEST TV channels debut on Channelbox

QWEST TV, the music streaming service backed by producer Quincy Jones, has launched on Channelbox.

UK viewers will be able to view music, concerts, documentaries and archive interviews via Freeview channel 271. The Channels will be accessible to anyone for free in the UK.

“We are very happy and proud to be part of Channelbox/Freeview offer, in a move that will enable UK music fans to discover our unique catalogue,” said CEO Reza Ackbaraly. “UK is a land of traditions and music, with great venues, artists and clubs such as Ronnie Scott, Barbican Center, Wireless festival, Hammersmith Apollo, Shabaka Hutchings, Gilles Peterson, Blur, Oasis, or Carl Cox. All of them are featured on Qwest TV and we’re very happy to build such a great partnership with Channelbox/Freeview in this country,”

“We are thrilled to launch Qwest channels on the platform and give UK audience access to its’ top quality content free of charge. Channelbox has an extensive lineup of music channels and Qwest channels are a fantastic addition”, added Tanya Kronfli, Channelbox head of content and business development.

Channelbox is a multi-channel platform available on connected Freeview channel 271 and Channelbox mobile applications. Channelbox is free-to-air and has over 70 TV channels.
