The Lithuanian regulator LRTK has mandated ISPs to stop access to banned Russian TV channels via IP addresses.
In a statement, it says that NTV, Pervyi Kanal, Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24 and RTR Planeta can still be accessed in such a way.
All are sanctioned by the EU for spreading disinformation and propaganda against it and its member states.
As banned TV channels are transmitted over an internet connection, ISPs must take all possible measures to comply with EU sanctions.
The regulator has given ISPs five working days to comply with the measure.
