Russia’s Gazprom-Media has exercised an option to buy the remaining 19.9% stake in GPM Data from Maxima Telecom.
As a result, according to Gazprom Media, it now holds 100% of GPM Data and has increased its internal expertise in managing data projects, which is necessary for the holding’s digital assets
It adds that GPM Data is a unified big data management center for Gazprom-Media Holding companies. It has developed a wide range of tools for solving complex business problems of both Gazprom-Media Holding and its partners and advertisers, including products for conducting segmented advertising campaigns.
Broadband TV News notes that no financial details of the transaction have been disclosed.
