The Hungarian info and communications company 4iG has raised its stake in Spacecom to 20%.
According to BBJ, news of the capital increase, from a previously held stake of 9.538%, was reported by the Hungarian agency MTI.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, earlier this month Israel’s Ministry of Communications (MOC) approved 4iG’s acquisition of a further stake in Spacecom.
4iG bought its initial stake in Spacecom, which operates the Amos group of satellites, in October last year.
It now has the option of raising its stake to 51% after three years, again with the approval of the MOC.
