Music video service XITE is launching music video channels around rock, country and gospel on the Pluto TV platform.
XITE Rock will feature rock and metal classics, and contemporary tracks; XITE Classic Country goes back over five decades and includes live and acoustic tracks; and XITE Gospel has 30 years of music videos and live performances.
Cees Honig, Co-CEO of XITE, said, “XITE continues to be an advocate for music videos to occupy the biggest screen in the house. Our interactive app enables viewers to control and personalize their music video experience. In comparison, our partnership with Pluto TV provides consumers with tailored linear channels that let them consume music videos as they do all other content on the platform, by simply leaning back and enjoying the musical journey.”
“The three new XITE channels on Pluto TV are the perfect addition to our Music category,” added Amy Kuessner, Senior Vice President of Content Strategy & Global Partnerships, Paramount Streaming. “As a leader in free streaming, Pluto TV brings its audiences a wide array of channels, from movies to television series to premium music content, and the added variety of these XITE channels exemplifies our overall message that there is something for everyone on Pluto TV.”
The channels will initially be available in the United States.
