Virgin Media O2 is offering TV customers the Sky Sports channels in the highest available quality.
All existing Virgin TV customers can add Sky Sports Ultra HD to their package for £7 extra per month.
With the new service, customers will be able to watch a range of live sport in spectacular Ultra HD and HDR including the Premier League, cricket, darts and much more.
The Sky Sports Ultra HD channels include Sky Sports Main Event Ultra HD and Sky Sports Ultra HD 1.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “For years, Virgin TV has offered access to all of the best live sport in one place and at great value, and now we’re offering it in the best picture quality available. With Sky Sports Ultra HD now available on our platform, fans of the Premier League, Formula 1 and a host of other top sports will be able to get even closer to the action.”
This latest addition to Virgin Media and Sky’s growing partnership, means that Virgin TV customers can now enjoy the full suite of Ultra HD content from Sky, with Sky Cinema and Entertainment Ultra HD VOD already available to customers.
