Siegfried Mayrhofer, CFO of the A1 Telekom Austria Group, has decided to leave the company when his management board contract expires at the end of August this year.
According to the company, he already made this decision in mid-2022 and also informed the presidium of the supervisory board about it.
Mayrhofer started his professional career at Telekom Austria in March 2000 in the International Business Development department. From 2004 he held various management positions in controlling and accounting for the Telekom Austria Group. Since July 2009 he was CFO of A1 Telekom Austria, and since June 2014 he has been CFO of the A1 Telekom Austria Group.
Commenting on Mayrhofer’s departure, Edith Hlawati, chairwoman of the supervisory board of Telekom Austria Group, said: “In challenging times, Siegfried Mayrhofer played a key role as CFO in shaping the important strategic course for the company: A1 Telekom Austria Group belongs to one of the most successful European telecommunications groups in terms of growth and EBITDA. Furthermore, the company recently received a rating of “A-” from Standard & Poor’s – this is the best S&P rating in the company’s history ever. Siegfried Mayrhofer made a big contribution to this success”.
