Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has granted Telewizja Polsat a 10-year licence extension.
According to the regulator, it is for the distribution of content of a universal nature on the channel Polsat on the national multiplex MUX-2.
Broadband TV News notes that Polsat is one of the longest established national commercial broadcasters in CEE, having launched as a satellite-delivered service in 1992.
Its current 10-year terrestrial licence is due to expire in March 2024.
