Vodafone lost a total of 140,000 TV customers in the last quarter of calendar year 2022.
According to the company’s latest results, it ended Q3 2022/23 with a total of 17,918,000, down from 18,058,000 in Q2 2022/23 and 18,333,000 a year earlier.
The biggest loss in Q3 2022/23 was in Germany (-112,000), followed by Italy (-17,000) and ‘other’ European markets (-15,000), some of which are in CEE.
The only market in which it registered a gain in the quarter was Portugal (+13,000).
More generally in Europe revenues declines in Germany (-1.8%), Italy (-3.3%) and Spain (-8.7%) were partially offset by growth in UK (+5.3%) and ‘other Europe’ (+2.1%).
The group’s total revenues in the quarter amounted to €11,638 million, down from €11,684 million a year earlier.
