Over four in five active fixed broadband lines in Spain are now fibre.
According to data published by the regulator CNMC, the figure stood at 82.1% as of the end of last September. Of the 16.8 million fixed broadband connections, those with a contracted speed of 100 Mbps or higher exceeded 15 million.
The number of NGA accesses amounted to 78.1 million, 6.1% more than a year earlier. The only accesses that grew FTTH with 69.8 million accesses deployed, 6.5 million more than the previous year.
Movistar, Vodafone and Orange (75.1%) accounted for over three quarters of fixed broadband lines, 3.4pp less than a year earlier.
