Jesse Bergsma joins localisation specialist Iyuno

January 23, 2023 12.37 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Former Chellomedia and Canal+ executive Jesse Bergsma has joined Iyuno as managing director of its Belgium and Netherlands operations.

With nearly two decades of experience in media management, business development and operations, behind him, Bergsma will lead the company’s Belgium and Netherlands team and client roster, as well as discover new localization business opportunities and expand its talent pool of actors and directors.

Earlier this year, the media localization leader announced the promotion of Berend Beijer, Regional Managing Director, Northwest Europe, who leaves the role of Managing Director, Belgium & the Netherlands, to Bergsma.

“After managing the Benelux region for over two years, I am very excited to take on a new role, as Regional Managing Director Northwest Europe, and continue to contribute to the success of the organization on a regional level. I am very delighted to have Jesse joining the team, having known him since 2005, I have no doubt he is the right person to lead the Benelux team going forward, and I am very confident that Jesse will be successful in his new role, and will continue to build and grow the Iyuno operations in the Benelux region,” commented Berend Beijer, Iyuno’s Regional Managing Director, Northwest Europe.

“I am thrilled to be joining a dynamic company like Iyuno and am looking forward to working together with Berend and the local teams in the Netherlands and Belgium. I am confident that there are a lot of opportunities in the localization business for the Benelux region,” added Jesse Bergsma, Iyuno’s Managing Director, Netherlands & Belgium.

Iyuno is a provider of end-to-end localization services including dubbing, subtitling and access services to media management, transformation and distribution services in over 100 languages.
