Sportdigital launches free-TV football channel on HD+ Ghana

January 18, 2023 11.46 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German broadcaster Sportdigital TV Sende- und Produktions GmbH, which operates pay-TV channel Sportdigital Fußball in the German-speaking countries, is launching a new channel.

SCOOORE is a new free-TV service in Ghana, available on the TV platform HD+ Ghana. The channel, which can be received by all active HD+ Ghana customers, shows live matches from all over the world, including German Bundesliga.

“The cooperation with HD+ Ghana is a very important milestone in the expansion strategy of our Sportdigital Fußball channel concept. We are delighted to have successfully taken this first step with SCOOORE in such an interesting TV market as Ghana and would like to thank everyone involved in this project for making this possible,” said Sportdigital managing director Gisbert Wundram.

Sportdigital managing director Bendix Eisermann added: “SCOOORE will offer a buffet of highlights including more than 400 hours of live football matches in 2023, including the Bundesliga (1 top match per match day), the DFB Cup, the Portuguese as well as the Argentine League and the Argentine Cup. Plus all Paris St Germain re-live matches (PSG TV), premium football magazines, up-to-the-minute football news and insights from the top international competitions in high-definition picture quality.”
