Alexander Zharov has been reappointed the CEO of Russia’s Gazprom-Media Holding for a further three years.
He has held the post since March 24, 2020, prior to which he was head of Roskomnadzor and Russia’s deputy minister of communications and mass media.
Commenting on his reappointment, Zharov said: “I am grateful to the board of directors for their trust. In less than three years, we managed to do a lot of work and gain a foothold in the leading positions in the media industry. I am proud that we have a powerful creative team in the holding, with the highest professionalism and limitless potential. As before, I can assure you that I will always adhere to the principles of mutual respect and openness in managing the holding and its structures”.
