Samsung TV Plus offers free DAZN channel with live sports

December 16, 2022 10.20 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Samsung is now offering owners of its smart TVs in Germany a free, exclusive DAZN FAST channel with live sports.

DAZN FAST+ shows live matches from the national football leagues in Spain (La Liga), Italy (Serie A) and France (Ligue 1) on the Samsung TV Plus streaming platform. The line-up also includes exclusively produced preview and highlight shows of the UEFA Champions League.

The first two live football games on DAZN FAST+ will be Paris Saint Germain vs Strasbourg on December 28, 2022 at 21:00 CET and Valladolid vs Real Madrid on December 30, 2022 at 21:20 CET.

“This is an exciting new development in our ongoing relationship with DAZN. It completely shakes up the sports streaming market in Europe. Thanks to the cooperation, we are providing innovative and groundbreaking ways for fans to experience premium sports content – such as free live football matches for Samsung TV Plus users in Germany. This reflects our commitment to redefine the FAST landscape in Europe,” said Richard Jakeman, European Head of Business Development Smart TV, Mobile & Gaming, at Samsung.

Samsung TV Plus is available free of charge on all Samsung smart TVs from the 2016 model year. The streaming service can also be used as an app on selected Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets via the Google Play and Galaxy Store.

DAZN recently also launched a FAST channel on German streaming platform waipu.tv, but without live sports.
