Canal+ Polska makes product placement move

December 16, 2022 09.09 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Canal+ has created a free mobile app in cooperation with insbay to help viewers find out more about products featured on its thematic channels Canal+ Domo and Canal+ Kuchnia in Poland.

Commenting on the development, Joanna Tanska-Michalik, cooperation specialist at Canal+, said: “At Canal+, we see great potential in cooperation with the insbuy application. insbuy brings TV and online shopping closer – it is a great tool to measure the effectiveness of product placement. In addition, it is supported by the results of the For us, this solution completely changes the concept of traditional advertising. In addition, we hope that this cooperation will be appreciated by Canal+ Domo viewers and our advertisers. Thanks to insbuy, viewers will not have to search for products shown in our programmes on their own. In the application everything will be in one place – just click to buy the product recommended by our leaders or used in our arrangements. Thanks to insbuy, our advertisers will, in turn, see the effects of their activities and advertising campaigns carried out in Canal+. We hope that thanks to this they will advertise with us more willingly and more often”.

Mikolaj Krzeminski, CEO at insbuy, added: “Thanks to this cooperation, the insbuy offer will be completed, which means more interior design inspiration and ideas for our current and future users.

“For the application itself, the commitment from Canal+ Domo HD is, in turn, a promising cooperation on many levels, of which we are most proud this year. Canal+ Polska recorded good results – only in 2020 the station had 2.7 million direct customers. Customers, some of whom will find answers to frustrations related to searching for items from aerial inspiration”.
