M7 Deutschland secures 8 new IPTV customers

December 5, 2022 09.34 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

M7 Deutschland has signed up eight new B2B customers for its IPTV service in Germany and Austria.

The new M7 partners in Germany are the city carriers, fibre-network operators and regional telcos komro, Stadtwerke Merseburg, Regionet Schweinfurt, R-KOM, Stadtwerke Konstanz, Stadtwerk Tauberfranken and VS Media as well as Kabel-TV Lampert in Austria.

In total, M7 serves around 160 network operators in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg with its TV services for cable and IPTV households.

The M7 partners can offer their customers around 130 free-TV and pay-TV channels, thematic channels and international services – the majority in HD picture quality – including interactive add-on functions, such as the restart of currently running programmes, TV recordings via network PVR and multiscreen access via smartphone/tablet app.

“More and more network operators are recognising the strong additional value of a modern, flexible TV offering, enabling them to demonstrate the performance of their networks to their customers, tap into new revenue sources and gain a competitive edge,” said Marco Hellberg, Managing Director of Eviso Germany, the M7 business partner in Germany. “We are delighted that eight more network operators from Germany and Austria have opted for our tailor-made solutions for advanced TV supply to their customers.”
