The number of pay-TV subscribers in Russia fell by only 15,000, or 0.03%, in the third quarter.
As of the end of Q3 according to TMT Consulting, it stood at 46.5 million, while penetration remained unchanged at 82.6%.
Furthermore, the decrease in pay-TV revenues seen in the first and second quarters was not repeated in the third, with the total rising to R26.7 billion (€422.3 million).
This was nevertheless noticeably worse than in Q4 2021 and Q1 2022, when the figures stood at R27.3 billion and R27.1 billion respectively.
Meanwhile, pay-TV ARPU in Q3 was R2 higher than the previous quarter at R191.
