German cable operator RFT Kabel has opted for Ocilion’s white-label IPTV product.
The platform includes live TV in HD with interactive add-on features, a video-on-demand service, 4K set-top boxes, smart TV and smartphone/tablet apps.
“Ocilion’s IPTV platform is very mature, market-proven and offers us a lot of flexibility in product design. The modular structure of the IPTV solution allows us to adapt the product to the needs of our customers. This was important to us when we were looking for a powerful IPTV offering”, said RFT Managing Director Stefan Tiemann.
Ocilion Managing Director Hans Kühberger added: “RFT Kabel relies on Ocilion in order to be able to provide end customers with a future-proof TV product – both on the existing HFC network and in FTTH deployment areas. The performance and flexibility of our IPTV product will also be used for tailor-made solutions for the housing industry.”
