Subscribers to the ad-free version of the UK’s ITV Hub can enter the Premium section of ITVX at no extra cost, until at least the end of 2023.
The offer was confirmed in an email sent to ITV+ subscribers.
ITV’s new streaming service will go live on December 8, replacing the existing ITV Hub.
ITVX will also incorporate the UK version of Britbox, which at £5.99 is £2 more expensive than ITV Hub+, giving transitioning subscribers even greater value.
Rufus Radcliffe, MD ITV On Demand, ITV has previously stated there was “very little duplication” between subscribers of ITV Hub+ and Britbox.
Across the two services, there are 1.2 million subscribers.
ITVX will at launch offer 20 FAST channels, alongside 15,000 hours of content and 6,000 more in Premium. Hub has just 4,000 hours.
