Netflix solves that did I remember to log out problem

November 15, 2022 19.54 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Netflix has confirmed the introduction of a new feature that allows viewers to remotely log out of individual screens.

Managing Access and Devices can be found in Account Settings from where you can view all the recent devices that have streamed from your account and to log out of specific devices with just one click.

For example, your writer is still concerned that he remains logged into his Netflix account at an Air B & B in Dingle, Ireland. Now it’s possible to check for sure.

But it’s also a sign of a continuing campaign by Netflix against unauthorised viewing following the subscriber shock from earlier this year.

Profile Transfer, for example, which has been positioned as a means to keep up with changing lifestyles, could just as easily be the way for Granny to keep up with her favourite shows once she gets her own account

The feature, which Netflix says has been much-requested is now available on the web, iOS and Android.
